Mission Team and anyone interested in going this summer on a mission trip, we will be having a meeting on Tuesday, April 3rd at 7pm. We need to make plans for our trip in June.
PPRC will meet on April 10th at 6:30 to continue the evaluation process for ourselves and for the Pastor. Please look over the material that you received at the last meeting and come prepared to share your ideas, concerns and joys.
Defibrillator and other areas of first aid training will be here at the church on Tuesday, April 17th at 7pm. If you are interested in this training, please contact either Ken Plowman or Pastor Tom so that we might keep track of the numbers. There may be a limit to how many may be trained at one time.
Incident Awareness Program. Friday, April 6th there will be part two of our incident awareness program. We ill be meeting at the Cyber School building in New Florance at 5:30pm. You need NOT have attended part 1 to join us. This will be a bit of lecture along with hands on practice on how to word the A.L.I.C.E. steps. Please let Pastor Tom know if you are interested so that we can give the numbers of those attending to Rev. Sharon Hamley.
Lil’ Sonshine Preschool. The delivery date for the Hogies is April 6th at 9am, money is due at this time. Cash or check, make checks out to Jenny Ressler. Also preschool is now accepting applications for the 2018/2019 preschool year. Applications are on the divider in the sanctuary.
Bible School is in need of plastic water bottles for on the their crafts. Any questions please see Jenny Ressler.
Military Bible Sticks. We received a total of $1,531.00 for the Bible Sticks. Thank You and Praise God!
Wesley Woods Work Week: Rev. Scott Hamley of Seward UMC will be taking a group to the Spring Work Week at Wesley Woods church camp. Departure will be Sunday afternoon, April 29th and returning Wednesday afternoon, May 2nd. There is no cost for work week volunteers. Food and lodging are provided. Work includes inside and outside clean-up and repairs to camp facilities for the summer season. If you are interested in coming, please contact Scott at 724-859-6745, or by e-mail email@example.com.
