Donations for Egg Hunt. We are in need of donations for the Easter egg hunt. There will be boxes in the back of the church and in the children’s division. Any questions please see Sue Plowman or Laurie Deem.The egg hunt is March 31st.
Easter Flowers. Easter flowers are now on sale. 5 bloom lilies, 6 bloom tulips, and 3 bloom hyacinths. All are $8.00. Please make check’s payable to Bev Duncan. Last day to order is March 15th. You may call up until noon. Any questions please see Bev or call at. 814-749-9876.
United Laurel Ridge Ministeriumwill once again be sharing during Lent as we move about the churches in the valley. All of our services will be at 6:30pm on Sunday evenings beginning with Sunday, Feb. 18th and running through Mar. 18th. The Good Friday Service, we will share in a Cross Walk beginning at the Seward UMC. The message will be shared by many of the Pastors in the Ministerium This week service will be at the New Life with Pastor Ron Gardner sharing the message. Next week’s service will be at Trinity Presbyterian with Pastor Ryan Kobert. Come and share in worship with the community and fellowship afterwards.
Military Bible Sticks. This Lenten season we will again be receiving an offering for the Military Bible Sticks to share with our Military Women and Men. There shall be an offering envelope available in the bulletin so that as you decide what you might give to this mission, can make sure that it gets to this mission. At this time there are more than 20,000 Bible Sticks being requested by our Chaplains to distribute to Military personal. Please let God speak to your heart and share the Word with those that are out on the front lines to protect us. $25 sponsor one service member and their family. Please have them turned in by Palm Sunday.
Disability Ministries Comm. There is a bill before the Senate that would affect persons with disabilities greatly. There is also a print out on the bulletin board.
Pop tabs. Katlyn McDonald has asked if members of the church would collect pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House. This is for a Girl Scout project. Thank You.
Audit. We will be auditing the books of the church in on March 7th, 2018. You can bring them into the Pastor’s office and we will keep them until the time to audit.
The Food Bank during the month of March is Frosting. Roger Brehm is the contact person. If you prefer to pay by check, make it payable to United Food Pantry. Continue to bring in your paper grocery bags. Please no plastic bags.
