Our church began in the home of James Wakefield in the early 1830s, and it soon grew into a log cabin of its own, not far from where the church stands today. The current church building was first built in 1854 with additions along the way. The last being built in 1966. We have more recently upgraded the sound and video systems to accommodate expanded worship styles. Blacklick Community is a welcoming body and you are invited to come and worship with us. We have a number of Sunday Schools offered at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday morning along with classes for our mission outreach teams, which have gone a number of places to share the love of God. We have built ramps in the local area, cleaned up yards, traveled to Wesley Woods and Cherry Run Camps to help with constructions, helped with wood cutting, and cleaned up as just part of the service to God. Our Church body also gets into missions as it reaches out to others. We have shared in many different local and global mission outreach projects to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the world.
